Our Process
1. Initial Meeting
The initial meeting forms the foundation of the relationship between client and designer. It allows clients to assess whether they would be a good fit and would like to continue their relationship with Wolsey House Designs. Equally, it allows the designer to establish whether Wolsey House Designs can provide the client with the design they want. As initial ideas for the project can often change, the relationship between client and designer is crucial to designing a home that encompasses clients’ dreams, lifestyles, needs and future plans.
After the meeting, a proposal will be sent, breaking down the stages and time scales of the project, along with the overall quotation, should you wish to continue your journey with Wolsey House Designs.
2. Concept Scheme
Following the initial meeting brief, a concept scheme is drawn up. These initial drawings are presented and discussed.
3. Detailed Scheme
In the penultimate stage of the planning and designing process, the concept scheme is amended based on your feedback. This stage results in the production of a detailed, carefully considered spatial design that meets your needs and tastes.
4. Planning Submission
Once the client agrees to all amendments, the final design is submitted.
5. Building Begins
While the planning and designing stages are now completed, Wolsey House Designs’ involvement does not end here. Working with the right people is crucial to achieving your vision for the project. Our connections to trustworthy, high-end development professionals, contractors and specialised consultants with whom we have worked before, ensures your home will be built to the highest of standards.
Should you require any changes to the design after building has begun, Wolsey House Designs’ founder – Joe Taylor – will happily make any amendments.
As an additional service, Joe visits building sites to make sure everything is in order and the build is coming along in line with the design. He is also able to attend meetings throughout the build.
